2026 Virginia Lumber Cup Project Gallery
Celebrating Student Craftsmanship Across Virginia
Built By Students. Guided By Educators.
The 2026 Virginia Lumber Cup brought together middle school and high school students from across the Commonwealth to transform Virginia hardwood into original woodworking projects.
This gallery celebrates the students who accepted the challenge and the teachers, advisors, faculty sponsors, and school communities who helped guide their work. Every project reflects planning, problem solving, tool skills, creativity, and pride in craftsmanship.
Thank you to every participating school for helping showcase the next generation of Virginia makers, tradespeople, and forest products leaders.

Thank You To Our Students And Faculty
To the students: thank you for your effort, creativity, and willingness to build something real.
To the instructors and faculty sponsors: thank you for teaching safe shop practices, encouraging careful design, and helping students carry each project from raw lumber to finished work.
The Virginia Lumber Cup exists to celebrate hands-on learning, Virginia hardwood, and the value of skilled craftsmanship. We are proud to share this collection of 2026 project work.
Build On This Foundation
These projects show the skill, care, and inspiration already taking shape in Virginia's next generation of makers. The Commonwealth should be proud of what these students and faculty have created.
Sponsor support helps expand this opportunity, provide materials, and strengthen the hands-on programs that turn student potential into real craftsmanship.
